The worldwide healthcare environment is in a state of serious turbulence and is challenged with an ever-increasing demand for high-quality, accessible and affordable healthcare services. In many countries state insurance and social security funding are either non-existing or inadequate and do not meet the need of the population in general.

Due to the growing demand for private healthcare, insurance companies, which have traditionally provided health insurance only in conjunction with life insurance, are now confronted with the escalating need to market stand-alone health insurance products.

More than ever, the need to achieve positive technical results and yet offer affordable premiums has become imperative. Solutions to meet these two objectives are demanded all over the world and need the involvement of all players in the healthcare sector.

In response to the challenge facing the healthcare sector, MedNet International Ltd. was founded and registered in 1990 as an offshore company in Cyprus, specializing in healthcare management services. In 2005 MedNet was established in Bahrain, however, MedNet Bahrain was ready to offer a wide range of healthcare management services.
